Bread Owners Manual

  • During winter this bread won’t mold, it will dry out but is still delicious. It is possible to keep it from drying out and keep the crust soft by storing it in a plastic bag.

  • During the heat and humidity of summer refrigeration will slow down molding. The first day it can be stored cut side down on the cutting board; or leave it in the bag it came in on the counter but never in a closed container like a bread box, it will hasten mold.

  • This bread freezes great! Slice it if preferred, double bag it, freeze it promptly and it will be good for a couple months.

  • A good sharp chefs knife or a bread knife will always make your bread slicing experience a good one!
